I Found God

I woke up from another drunk
And I found God
I couldn't rise
God helped me up

I felt the love of a stranger
And I found God
I thought no one cared
God said he loved me

Through clenched teeth
I found God
I wanted revenge
God said to let it go

In my broken heart
I found God
I lost my loved
God said we would meet again
