I Forget Sometimes
I forget sometimes that you may have a need to laugh And feel like you made me laugh too Imagining perhaps that without you I never would Moments that where like lifetimes I've shared with you Rosy cheeks and ice skates As well as candles that have given up after the night To consecrate the morning with gold and silver tears That only you who've stayed and stayed past midnight Could ever know were here
