I For An I
Im stuck screaming in a place that no one hears a thing
I'm on my knees praying for any angel to sing
I'm lost without a clue of where I should be
I'm stuck in chains just wanting to be free
I want to be free from the pain that stole all my dreams
I want to be free from the anger that has me busting at the seams
I want to be free from hate and everything that it means
I want to be free from judgement
and the bad people I've seen
So I stand up and announce my birth given name
So I stand up helping make stars to anything that's plain
So I stand up for myself and no longer pass along the blame
So I stand up as a warrior fighting
for those with no names
Now I find peace in a place I oh so long ago forgot
Now I throw away all my hate and emptiness that it brought
Now I am here as an innocent not afraid to get caught
Now I am right where I belong becoming all that I once sought
So now I am a leader of anyone looking for themselves
So now I help grant wishes like the pennies in a well
So now I am my own hero ready to set sail
So now I tell my story, and how I simply refused to failNow I am here as an innocent not afraid to get caught
Now I am right where I belong becoming all that I once sought
So now I am a leader of anyone looking for themselves
So now I help grant wishes like the pennies in a well
So now I am my own hero ready to set sail
So now I tell my story, and how I simply refused to fail
