I Fell Into the Night
I fell into the night, not into sleep
Nightmares rattled my thoughts
Dark places, dark actions, darkness!
Then when it came to waking up,
It was impossible to sleep at all
For a while I lay there looking,
Once again into the darkness…
Until I fell into the night, onto a freight train
Of more nightmares that nothing can stop
I woke up to gray skies today and I realized,
The freight train is here in the day too
The nightmares only mirrored the truth
To all that is ferociously happening!
If we don’t stop this freight train,
We are going to end up in frightening places
That we never imagined to be!
