I Fell

I fell upon an open space of love Of warmth and grace sent from above Entangled as a worm upon a hook Nestled in a lovers’ crook Strengthened by hearts trepid beat Cajoled and swaddled within loves heat Crippled now within loves’ grasp Freedom far beyond my pass Love love a so wanted grace Swallowed now a forgotten face.
