I Feel Blue

I Feel Blue
October 27, 2021

	There is something inside
					-hurting-
A drop of blue in my heart,
Contagious to all around.

	A teardrop
			-resting-
Wondering why it's there,
Why does it even exist?

Questioning gives it life
Letting in panic -concern-
						-and regret.

	I feel blue inside,
This little droplet in my body.
Expanding up into my brain with every breath.

Day by day it gets worse
				-melancholy-
Taking control of life.
Building titanium walls.
It stayed strong for six years before the blue shrunk.

	I felt yellow
Like the world was finally right.
On a good path to find hope.

Yet today,

	Sitting in bed,
			-crying-
Questioning purpose of life,
And why does the world hate me?

Today I feel blue.

Blue and yellow; are you Swedish? Must be a question of attitude, e.g., Most people believe opportunity is just around the corner whereas opportunity slaps them in the face every day but they don't see it because they believe it is still around the corner! Aloha!
