I Feel Another

I feel all of myself around him.
I see myself in beautiful eyes
I feel pure
I feel strong
I feel real
Alive.
And yet at the same time
I don't crave his body
No, just his soul.
Just my Cassius.
I feel the old me slip into who I am
As if the real me was hidden beneath layers.

Your soul has sanctuary in the body of the heart, as does mine, and in that sacred place we crave a touch beyond the skin, an embrace of love not thin Jay. The feathered touch of love on soul. A beautiful poem of real soul Jay...J.A.B.
