I Feel Alive
Closing my eyes drifting calmly, deeply away
Not a single moment passes, when I ever feel alone
Euphoria showers down on me and fills my day
Gliding swiftly to heaven, the place I feel at home
Never afraid to stand tall, to have my say
Embraced into the realm of true life and living
Love and happiness, true and abundantly clear
My soul is forever open, my journey is forever giving
The Opening of my heart, the vivid sounds I can hear,
Of the bellows of the truth that have lived with in
Everyone I love overwhelms me like a cooling waterfall
So many loving souls rush and flood my mind
Pounding like a drum, my heart echoes in this great hall
They gather to see me, so gentle, no one left behind
The magnificent feeling, this is life I can recall
The colours, a pallet that has never been seen
Rich, so bright, felt and seen by all
The sky truer than blue, the grass greener than it’s ever been
I am the person I remember, I can climb any wall
This grand experience, too real to be a dream.
Open your heart, realise this place is for you too
A single thought of me, I will be so near
Watching you, guiding your eternal soul through
Obstacles you face, helping you to steer
Open questions, such as why do we do what we do?
But now my eyes are open to what is truly known
I wake, wondering where did this all start?
My thoughts, I try and remember here while I’m home
None of this matters, just the feeling from the heart
The ultimate truth is, you and I will never be alone
Being every memory, every feeling and thought
The tear you weep, the noise of the wind in the trees
I am the one responsible for the white feather you sought
Fear nothing, for I’m with you, in the air and breeze
Holding your hand, kissing your head, love can not be bought
