I Feel

You see what you see
I feel what I feel
You don’t understand, so let me be
Or accept me and let me heal

I show you love, yet I am lonely
I show you beauty, yet I am scarred
I show you perfection, yet I am flawed
I show you freedom, yet I am chained
You see what you see
I feel what I feel

I show you home, yet I am lost
I show you hope, yet I am hopeless
I show you calm, yet I am chaotic
I show you focus, yet I am scattered
You see what you see
I feel what I feel

I show you bravery, yet I am afraid
I show you strength, yet I am weak
I show you patience, yet I am panicked
Let me show you how I feel
I will let you in, just this once

Beautiful. This is me through and through. Thank you for capturing the inspiration to write this, and yet, I am sorry; for I know what it's like to be one of the ones with the needs and reasons to write this one.

The continuity of this makes me smile. " Ishow you home, yet I am lost I show you hope, yet I am hopeless I show you calm, yet I am chaotic I show you focus, yet I am scattered" lovely!

I must say so many opposite feelings. What you show others is courage. I do the same thing. What we must be missing out on. Someone to lean on when the going gets tough. Really, related to this poem. job well done! - Mike

Nice penning Susan, it has many opposites which bring one to consider the possibilities in life yet so far from us. Well done!
