I Drift Among

I drift among the rainbow-hued
that strongly claim to be imbued
with light and truth, and in this sea,
are dark fish, too, that swim with me.
So what from this have I construed?

Although I have a cheerful mood,
I move with some inquietude
because of the variety
I drift among. . .

For there’s no group I quite include
myself inside.  Thus, not renewed,
I borrow some complacency,
awaiting an epiphany
as life slips from the multitude
I drift among.

So far as I recall, I've never tried the kyrielle. I generally try to match the theme or subject with the form I use. I really enjoy villanelles, terzanelles, and terza rimas.
