I Dreamed a Dream

My horizons look bleek
The sun no longer sets
The tide is at an impasse
Birds no longer sings
The rainbow is colorless
Cupid is on strike today
Hope no longer hopes
I see no star to make,
a wish upon tonight
My heart doesn't beat
I'm a modern day zombie
I'm trapped in yesterday
Dreams are overrated!
My dreams left with you
