I Dream of Falling

I fell so far
From up above
And could not fly
Like any dove

I woke up fast
The dream so real
It was a blast
All I could feel

I dream of falling
From a brick building
Can hear me calling
It is quite yielding

Always wake before I hit
Do not know why
Get scared a bit
But never cry

One of my dreams there is a bridge
Of which I am riding on
There are no sides upon this bridge
And one of the planks is gone

The planks run to the right
It pulls the truck off the side
From the box I am in flight
Sure felt like quite a ride

I woke as I land upon a rock
Believe me it was a big shock
My body it hurt from getting so tense
The dreams I was having were making no sense

The dreams have subsided
They are not so intense
I see dreams as one-sided
They are not so immense

Now I sleep so well
In my king size bed
No more dreams that I fell
Or those feelings of dread

King size bed gives more room so that won't have to be afraid of falling. Keep the magical pen flowing. Sara
