I Dream of Fairies
I dream of demons
Angels and fairies alike
Visions of terror
Visions of peace
Of my future and things that I like
I dream I can fly
To anywhere I want
To be who I want to be
And with whomever I desire
I fight my demons face to face
And I realise they're just me
Another form of myself
Another one of me
I dream I speak all languages
Every native tongue
To calm their fears, gain their trust
Without trust, who are we?
I dream I talk to animals
Reptiles and insects too
They are all God's creatures
But predators threaten them all
I dream of a life, far from my own
And my own is perfect, you see
I am happy in my dreams
Happy in my life
I am happy being me!
