I Dream

I dream, of greater things Than a meek history Shared by you and me I dream, because I may The things I say Are child's play Why do you pry When I go awry Everything's a lie Between you and I I still dream For it is my gift Until taken away Against my wish That and this Are what may come Until they turn into nightmares And I come undone One more night Upon a prayer For one last dream Please take me there.
