I Don'T Want To Close My Eyes

I don’t want to close my eyes;
I want to see your angelic face
that glows with serenity and beauty,
as you rest on your soft, cotton pillow

I don’t want to close my eyes;
I want to see you breathing gracefully
throughout the night, as your chest
gently moves upwards and downwards

I don’t want to close my eyes;
I just want to stare at the person
who helped me to fill the puzzles
that made me to drown in questions
of what love really is, and the person
is you, my love
