I Don'T Need You Anymore

I don't need You anymore

When You were most in need
I gave what I could
When you needed support
I gave my time
When you were broken
I gave you my attention
I always gave what I could to you every single time and never asked for anything in return

But When I was in most need
you didn't care
When I needed support
You weren't there
When I was broken
All You did was glare
You never gave what You had

But I realized I don't need You anymore
I am independent
I am strong
I am brave
I am Unique
I am loved

I wish You all the best

This is an outstanding representation of self-actualization. Very well penned, Nathan.

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
