I Don'T Need a Man

i don't need another half to make me whole
i don't need someone to love and to hold
who say's love's the only way to be happy
giving gift and wrapping presents
who cares what other think
who need there opinion
why do i need a guy on my arm
to show off to other people
there are more important thing's in my life
more important than being someone wife
why do we live in this sort of world
where only having a man is important
women in history tried hard for equal rights
yet today's women i quite happy to stay at home
and look after children while men work
who wants to be a housewife
who's dream is that?
where is the ambition the adventure the life?
