I Don't Love You

I do not love you and I never will
Your face and lines read like a book from hell
You stamp out the light from the stars above
And proceed to consume the souls of love
I refuse to concede to all your whims
By grace I escaped in the knick of time

We can relate to this, John. Narrowly escaping the clutches of a bad relationship. Well illustrated.

Thank you very much for your kindness. It’s an all too familiar subject I’m afraid.

Welcome to the soup. Your poem is perfect. Ten syllables per line and forceful poetry depicting a rejection of a person since no love exists. My only advice is to read and read, and write and write.
