I Don'T Know Who I Am Waiting For

I don't know who I am waiting for
Maybe I am waiting for the painter
Who turns the cathartic moon
Into carnation mist of healing
Or maybe I am waiting for the pianist
Whose fingers turn the daunting nights
To midnight seas of delightful dreams
Or maybe I am waiting for a poet
Who will turn me into a poem
With all new beginnings.

Nayanika, your poem is a beautiful way of expressing yourself. You are the poem!! When love arrives, it will not be disguised. It will be readily recognizable. Let me say that I thoroughly enjoyed your correlation in comparing the various avenues down which you traveled in verse. Commendable and to be given high accolades. A truly great poem.
