I Don't Know Anymore

I was planning
on living to a hundred
I had enough projects
to keep me busy till then
but tonight...

I’m feeling the angst
of these troubled times
my priorities askew
the tower trembling
and crumbling
I’m shaken to my core

"My priorities askew, the tower trembling and crumbling" - wow. This poem shakes my core a bit as I read.

Amazing what a good night's sleep will do. My batteries are recharged. So I'm ready to go go go.

don't worry about the time you have left to you. Think about living and loving and filling the time you have left and that time will be very happy for you.

And yet -- Do you know any less?! … There's a clever saying in Yiddish: 'A mensch tracht, un Got lacht.' / A man makes plans, and God laughs. …. And so it goes, sometimes. Smiles, Gershon

That's right, Gershon. We can't take anything for granted other than just that: we can't take anything for granted.

i think we all feel that way from time to time, line, but we can't all express it quite so well...

I understand what you mean Line, but hey. when the sun comes out it changes everything. I am off to London tomorrow for an evening of operatic arias, which I know will truly lift my soul, and hopefully protect me from these nasty germs that they say are all around us! Keep smiling dear friend. With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Yes, when we lose perspective, it's important to get back on the wagon. Thanks, Julie.
