It's so hard to say "I don't know," but sometimes that's the best answer, especially when the alternative is to guess.

There are things you know you know and there are things you don't. There are things you couldn't know, and many things you won't. But when it comes to knowing things there's one thing to be sure; we'll never know about everything, though that does have some allure. So if you're asked a question with no evidence to show, there's nothing wrong in answering with a simple "I don't know."

...and be thought of as a know nothing... the idea, such insanity in poetic form, how dare you speak such truth to alleged power and infallibility. LOVE THIS CARY!!

I'm just going to stand with Laura on this one. :) One note, though instead of thought, fourth stanza. :) I assume it was a typo. :)

I am really enjoying reading your ponderings this morning. Your words hold humble wisdom. I quite like this one. It's okay not to know everything - no one expects us to! Always, Laura
