I Don't

I don't read much and never memorize words
I only use words that I remember
Write them on paper
And strike them on guitar or piano like chords

I don't sing and dance a lot
I only sing when I'm alone
Or sing and dance with children I see around
  under a drone

I don't drink and I don't smoke
Drinking and smoking are not bad
if you know how to hold and stroke
Thinking and believing you'll never be sad

I don't speak much and never write them all
With my pen, short words I can think of
Overflowing ink I wipe off
Thoughts I keep on mute and never call...

One night, my pen froze and my hand started to doze
I woke up the next day
And everyday from my body, both my frozen hand
  and pen never slip away

Children asked me, "Why does 'DON'T' make all
  people silly?"

I said, "We are the people. We can be silly sometimes,
even when most people always speak and act like chilli
  ... I don't!"
