I Do So Agree

As a teacher, I do so agree
with all those parents
 who support me valiantly
  
Yes, the school experience should be sunny
a teacher's job, too, is worth more money
  
  And when kids' futures are shafted
  as happens more than occasionally 
  it's especially un-funny to me

Yet teachers are and never have been 
renumerated well monetarily
  Their true rewards are sought and found educationally

Connie Marcum Wong June 24, 2018 at 11:42 PM So true Gershon. Public outcry helps bring attention to the problem. We need to put pressure on legislature to have more funds available for education. In the past our govenor kept funds that should have been allocated for our school systdms and many parents gathered to let the press know what was happening.
