Notes About The Poem

We need Washington representatives who are there for the people, not the party.

I Do Not Offer Gratitude

I do not Offer Gratitude
By Franklin Price
4/4/2017

I do not offer gratitude
For Congress that is crass and crude
Here for the people they allude
Elephant and Ass with attitude

Fill seats with much ineptitude
With party lines they are imbued
Not offering much latitude
They're inconsiderate and rude

Spout speech with boring platitude
Careless words from mouths exude
Politically the truth elude
As the storied king not clothed but nude

Very nice write Franklin. This is the kind of poem that scares people that wear blinders, (tunnel vision goggles). :)

Thanks Pete. It may scare people that wear blinders, but will they take them off after reading it?
