I Do Not Fear Dying

I do not fear dying
I fear suffering and dying
like being my children's next burden
like forgetting who I am or ever was
like becoming a 90 year-old in diapers
like hanging on far after it's time to let go
No, I do not fear dying
I fear suffering and dying
