I Disappoint Myself

I set goals
   Not long term
But one's that can be acomplished
really soon if I ever followed through with one
Like to actually speak to the guy I've been pining for
                 I disappoint myself everytime I don't say a word
Than I'm set back another day
                        This isn't looking good
                           Why can't I just say
                         What's on my mind
Before I lose track of time
Before his attention starts to fade
                              I can feel our chemistry
But it doesn't seem to matter
                                   unless I do something
To set fire to this flame
                                         I've set a new goal
                                          One no one knows about
                                             but me
and I vow not to disappoint myself
A vow to make myself happy
