I DIDN'T WANT TO CRY TODAY
I didn't want to cry today.
I wasn't quite ready to let you go.
I knew that you was more than ready.
That didn't make it any easier though.
I have known this day would come ,
And I had more than enough time to prepare.
Even though I cry and my eyes are filled of tears.
I am so grateful for the love, happiness and joy you shared
There is no more age and no more pain
There is no more tiredness or earthly fears
Everyone knows that your now home
We are all joyful of this despite or many tears.
I didn't want to cry today but I thought of you
And how you opened up your home.
You held so many children in your arms and loved them as your very own.
Memories of you flood over me and though
I try my best I can't fight back the tears.
Your love always poured out to each and everyone from their day one to your 90 years.
When you left this earth and you joined the others beyond the sky.
I can only imagine the glorious reunion that day,I bet the angels cried.
I bet you was treated and hugged by the arms of the Bulletproof man.
At least thats how I saw him but I know you called him your husband.
I really didn't want to ,I tried not to cry today but it happens when I am thinking of you.
There may be tears falling from my face but they are joyous as I know your made new.
If you can hear me please do me a favor
And say hello for me to the Bulletproof man.
Please give him a huge hug for me as well
Ill give him another when the Lord says that I can.
I hope you know how much that I love you and the Bulletproof man.
I look forward to when I am called home and I can finally hug you both again.
