I Didn't Know You Were Famous!
We’re one loose screw away from being
Ten hollow corpses
Nailed to crosses we didn’t even configure
Still gossiping like our hands aren’t on fire
And you're three secrets away
From being the loose lips of the school
And the pills must not be working if you still think this is cool
And you're one homewrecking away
from being the loose hips of the school
And there’s nothing that you’ve touched
That didn’t burn
We’re two candle flickers away
From being ten hollow corpses
Glowing through every rumor we absorbed
Like soldered lanterns in a field of flowers
The spark of flames will only make us stronger
But weaker by the force of wind and water
Ten hollow lantern corpses
Nailed to crosses that were built but not completed
Still whispering to each other like our palms aren’t bleeding
What doesn’t kill us leaves our hearts and hands weaker
Stealing pieces of wisdom from muses to martyrs
Anything we can get before you touch the ground we worship and watch it burn
And to wear a robe and a crown doesn’t make you in charge of this
But you’re only seven sins away
From being on par with almost every president
But leave these futile lies at homes
Just because the safe is open
doesn’t mean you cracked the code
And I hope you know
You're three secrets away
From being the loose lips of the school
And the pills must not be working if you still think this is cool
And you're one outburst away
from being the sinking ship of this school
We used to worship the ground you walk on
But now there’s nothing that you’ve touched
That didn’t burn
Ten hollow corpses
With too many secrets for the urn
