I Did What Is Right

I did what's right
What was necessary for safety
And now I'm hated
Bullied
Forced to leave my own school
But for what
What cost
My own sanity
My own life
That night I went to bed
Wishing I wouldn't wake up
After thoughts of the end
The peace left behind
My mind took over
I began to feel empty
Regret and shame
Took over my mind
Praying I could live
To see another day
God must really exist
Thank you
