I Despise Super Confident Drones
Here comes one of those super confident drones, Elephant.
What does he want? Or should I ask who does he want?
He had better not even try to talk to me.
I get my corbicula and leave quickly, as you see.
The queen is short, he is yelling. Only a thousand eggs today!
That could mean death to the old girl; I don’t care in any way.
She has never been friendly to me, so I push off and fly.
Don’t you want to know what happened? Do you want to know why?
We worker bees despise these super confident drones, the men.
It is better in the winter, because they don’t last long then.
But in the summer our life span is five times longer, I am afraid.
I ignore him completely, trying to not fly into any fern or shade.
