I Depart This Evening

I swallowed
Your decision
I’m leaving
The mansion
I accepted
The defeat
And I acquitted
All debts
I loved you too much, darling
Oh! You forgot everything.

The surprises
Of life
Are not sweet cherries
I’m leaving my heart
For peace
This is a required part
I depart
This evening.
