I Couldn'T Talk

I couldn't talk, they told me I would die if I did Those things I saw were not to be told! I was young with my voice stolen The world was caving in on me There were no safe adults, not even police! So I prayed and I wrote! Writing saved me, God saved me, From the walls all around me... The pretending to be happy... And smiles people complimented that were not real! Heidi Sands 11/1/22

Heidi, it’s so horrific what some horrid people do and my heart aches for the children who have to see things they should never have to witness. Bless you, Belle
