I Could Watch You

I could watch you 
Watching paint dry
And smile and know 
No matter what you 
Do, you make me flutter
Through and through

I could watch you
Watch the birds fly
And soar up in the sky
No cloud can hide
My admiration high
As vast as endless perfect
Blue; I can see in you

I could watch you fall asleep
Watch your dreams so loving
Deep; the slightest flicker
In your eye and softest smile
And with it tender
Thoughts are brought to
Head and then into my mind

I can watch you all the time
And never ever want or go
You fill my soul with everything 
That a soul would ever want to know
I could watch you through and through
And forever want to be with you
