I Confess

How I rage and wrack beneath 
the secret brevity, 
pressure mounts a threat to 
blow my heart valves through 

my chest.

I cannot contain the 
building torrent within, 
a crumbling dam of good intentions 
loosing the flood from 

my distress.

Expectant sweet release 
explodes a hidden core, 
revealing my bones and nerves 
glowing circuits of

sheer willingness.

I howl the words aloud 
repeat and cry them over, 
a rapturous detonation, 
my internal confidences 

I confess...
