I Committed a Poem
Caught in the act,
Of my emotions put to pen.
My heart spills onto the paper,
Revealing a hidden love,
That I have kept from you.
I’m sorry for admitting,
The desires of my heart.
Destined to be liberated from within,
The truth has leaked unto the page.
It has been a long time,
That I have fought these feelings.
And I was just about to let you know,
Of this truth...I have inside.
But you caught me scribing,
A poem for my true love.
And if you read the bottom,
It was scribed for you.
I committed a poem,
And the truth...shall set me free!
