I Chose
I chose to live for tomorrow not today,
I chose to patch myself up,
Get up, be productive,
I chose to prove you wrong.
I chose to fight,
I chose to fight for me,
My heart, my happiness.
I chose to be happy.
I chose to let go,
I chose to hold on to what gives me strength.
I chose you,
I chose what makes me whole,
I chose what makes me smile,
I chose to not give up.
At the end of the day,
I CHOSE ME.
