I Choose You

There was a boy I knew once, not very long ago. He could be as passion filled as the rising sun, or as dry as the desert sand, depending on his mood.

Without him, I would go crazy, and with him, I was even crazier.
“Love me,” he’d whine, and I did.
I loved him, love him, will love him, up until the moment I am so filled with love I think I will burst if I become any more infatuated with this human being.
And that’s all he is after all. He is a human being, as am I, as are we all.

So what is it that makes me love this boy more than I could possibly imagine loving any other? It’s hard to say what makes love happen. Is it the simplicity of being in the right place at the right time? Is it really that two people are destined for each other?

Destiny is in our own hands, is it not?
So who will you choose to love?
