I Carry With Me Determination
Ever since I was a lad,
I have battled many of my tasks.
I have worked twice as hard as my peers,
I have cried two times the tears.
I have always told myself I can do anything if I put my mind to it.
I could have anything if I worked hard enough for it.
Someday I will have my Masters degree in OT.
My name will be on the cover of a book for all to see.
I will live in the log cabin I dream about at night.
My children will always want to be tucked in tight.
All this is possible, because I am the master of my own destiny,
While on my journey to Heaven I carry with me my determination.
