I Can'T Wait

I can’t wait… To no longer have the desire to submerge myself into you Into those full chocolate lips that once spoke sweet nothings into my ears. I can’t wait... Till I no longer wake mid-dream with tears running down my face As if a race… a competition… To out soak the pillow from the night before. I can’t wait… till I’m no longer forced to feel the empty space On my bed, where I once rested my head Listening to the very heartbeat that would soon break mine. The day will come… When I’m no longer losing me, waiting to be loved by you. When calmness and tranquility will blanket the coldness, you left behind. When the waves of emotions no loner push and pull me Like sand in the tides. For that day… I can’ t wait.

You have a wonderful gift of being able to put emotion into words; a poetic poet you are! Nicely done. You have found your tribe, Crystal. Please post more!
