I Cant Seem To Get Past the Past....

I looked past all your faults 
i saw the real you....
while everyone was putting you down
I was the one holding you up....
you always said that you needed me....
so that you could be the man you always wanted to be
you said youd always be here 
but...u just simply aint near
ive forgiven you for everything youve done
but just to find out that i wasnt the only one,
i gave up everything for you
i gave up my old life to start a new
and honestly i thought and was hope n' it would be with you
you just dont know how bad it hurts to see his face everyday, knowing that when 
he grows up i have to tell him why you didnt want to stay
Although, i never understood why you left
its just something my heart will never forget
