I Can'T See It

ce Can't see windblown daffodils dancing
nor billowing clouds of elephants romancing.

See no humor in circus clown's frown
no companionship with friends around town.

Pleasure and purpose suddenly gone
lost mellow mood from favorite singer's song.

Miss the satisfaction from sunset sky
self-confidence lacking, I know why.

Life's direction has drifted off course
abundance of sadness since divorce.

Tomorrow begins next chapter of life
and angel I love, no longer my wife.

Heard freedom from marriage has benefit
through never ending tears, I can't see it.

I am not going through a divorce, but if I was, the pain would be as I feel I presented. I like putting myself in a position and then trying to write about it. Thanks for the concern. Wayne
