I Can'T Hear You

I love Rock 'N' Roll
you say I worship satan
I say it soothes my soul
and you are quite mistaken
    I love the color purple
you say, "but you're not royalty"
    I say I'm just a girl
and your opinion makes no difference to me
I love being a housewife
you say I'm shaming all women
I say this is my life
you have no right to butt in
    there's just no pleasing you
    you'll oppose me either way
so this is what I'll do
    each and every day
I'm gonna crank up Guns 'N' Roses
put on my favorite purple shirt
go wipe your snotty noses
I won't listen to you sling dirt
so now I say peace out!
    I'm gonna go cook
    my man his dinner
and be happy without a doubt!

You had me at rock and roll but when you mentioned GnR...that put this poem right over the top. Crank up November Rain, when Slash comes in after that piano rift it'll shake the windows. :) That'll teach em. Loved this Christy.

Sweet Child O' Mine is my favorite but November Rain is right up there at the top. :)

I'm actually listening to November Rain right now. It's one of my favorite GNR songs along with Estranged. Thank you for your kind comments. Rock on, Chris!
