I Can'T Find My Way To Heaven

I can't find my way to heaven
From this hell in which I live.
'Cause I'm always taking, taking
With nothing ever left to give.

The way to heaven I have lost
Since this hell I've called my home
There's no room left for righteous
In all the evil that I've done.

I won't find a way to heaven
From the hell that's all around
When I search the path eludes me--
Here's the simple truth I've found;

The way to heaven isn't solid
And the hell in which I live
Is a hell of my own making
Leaving me with naught to give.

So I'm building my way to heaven
From this hell that is within
And the pathway's so much stronger
Built upon forgiven sin.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
