I Can'T Breathe

On the ground held by the neck.
My air pipes blocked.
What the hell is happening?
I can’t believe I am dying.
Dying, just because of my color
Where do I leave my kids?
Where do I leave my mama?
Where do I leave my wife?
I can’t believe I am dying.
Dying, just because of my color.

Succinct and potent ink. Hopefully change will come at last. Denial has to stop somewhere. Affecting ink dear poet. ~mo
