I Can'T

I must be perfect.
Nothing compares to the feeling of success,
especially when that's what everyone expects.
I cannot fail.
Failing is realizing that I'm not good enough.
The judgment from others would make me feel frail.
Living a life like mine is rough.
I'm not a jock.
I'm not tough.
I'm not a popular kid,
who makes life seem like I've run out of luck.
A burnt-out gifted kid,
is what I am.
Yet,
No one believes me when I say,
I can't.
