I really didn't want to face you
I thought I could replace you
You constantly on my mind 
Feel like I can chase you
If I keep on running 
Would you tell me to stop
Or would you not?
If I stopped in my tracks
Would the race be complete 
Or would I keep on going 
Would I be like a showcase
That you keep on showing
These words are lyrical
And they keep on flowing

I can't do it 
I can't lie 
The way you make me feel 
I wonder why
we never made it 
I really hate it
we should have contemplated 

Hope if we get a chance again
that we can be more than friends
we can learn 
about one another 
fall in love with each other 
isn't it cool
to set the trend 
be in love with your best friend
act silly be yourself 
be there when you need some help 
always thinking of everyone else
besides yourself 
I love you boy I can't lie 
the way I feel made me realize
