I Cannot Not Be Me

I am determined to be me no matter what happens
No matter who throws a fit
No matter what catastrophe rears her ugly head
No one can talk me out of it

Some strangers have tried
In a roundabout way
Trying to talk me into being more like them than me
It amuses me, but I do not get their phone numbers.
