I Cannot Lose My Faith
I cannot lose my faith,
No one can take it away from me,
But I can give it away,
It is the things I do,
The things I decide,
That can separate me from God.
Think of God as an umbrella in a rainstorm,
And the rain as the temptations of this world,
If I stay close to God, I will stay dry,
If I chose to move away from God,
To dwell in the temptations of this world,
I will surely get wet,
If I do not trust God,
I will give my faith away.
