I Cannot Indulge the Ignorant

ignoring ignorance annoys the ignorant ~ indulge them? I can't

same old redundant story ~ on a soap box for an ounce of glory

too much of the same old chatter ~ spewed from the mouth of a Mad Hatter

Alice will gladly pet the Cheshire Cat ~ if it'd make him chase a rat

to all en bloc, don't swallow that drink ~ write your own poetry with ink

Each and every one a stonker (that’s pretty much the opposite of stinker). If I were the one making the decisions, I’d have just read a POTD. Clever, topical writes, Lin. [Phew… I noticed just in time, that auto correct had changed ‘Stonker’ to ‘Stinker’… that would have gone down well ;-)]

Stinker, stonker... I read you loud and clear, Terry. Should I be concerned about that? Thank you ;-)

Lin, we're in a troubling time. AI tools are ultimately designed for profit, and the creators of these systems want to ignore the ramifications of how they are used. It's expensive to institute controls. Same old story of externals in economics...the bane of us all.

A fine thread of monokus Lin, a lot of people’s eyes have been opened as to who’s trying to run the sideshow, and from what I’ve seen all this chatter has backfired, the PS community wants real poems from real people, cheers David

Many (holier than thou) Canons have been fired here in Ireland for (clowning about) over the years, to put it mildly!

True not to mention people who click on their own poems. AI has many tools.

It's long past time the circus tent has been opened for all to see the show. One of the clowns who wants to be ringmaster is getting shot out of a canon. Thanks for liking the Monoku, David.

Nice one Lin, regarding ignorant people, I avoid them like the plague, eventually they'll dig their own grave.

I'm pretty sure you're right about that, John. Pens make useful shovels. Thanks for reading me.

Ya know, John? I think Thomas Gray was right about that, and three centuries later, it still holds true. Thanks.

The Cheshire Cat smile? I think you probably wore it when you read these. Thanks, Jan.
