I Cannot Forget

You tell me to forget
I know you are joking
portions of my brain
you addicted with love

My arteries operate
a stream of hormones
congested with molecules
of love from your heart

My veins carry away
streams of red blood cells
packed with by-products
love has created from joy

Let us lay down here
on the beaches of love
And I tell you my story
story of impossibilities

Honey-pot the tongue licks
its resting chamber is there
